Woah! I can't believe...

I have very fine oily hair. Typically I have to wash it daily. I have tried to use other methods of "dry shampoo" but they just didn't work; usually made my hair discolored and still oily. I finally have started reading creative and DIY blogs. It's quite funny, the one item I knew absorbed oil but didn't think to use was cornstarch! EUREKA!!! Not only did it make my hair look good but it also gave it body! Oh happy day!

Take just a bit of cornstarch and rub it in your roots and wowza! Instant clean looking hair and body.

I'm using it in my hair from now on. I recommend this to anyone with oily and fine hair.

Merry Day After Christmas!

Since a lot of my dear IG (Instagram friends) have blogs, I decided to start one.  I figured I could update it with some of my favorite vintage things, crafts, DIY, and my favorite music. Christmas was spectacular this year.  Christmas Eve was spent with my husband's family and Christmas day was spent with mine.  The best part of course was the family time but the food, my gosh the food was amazing.  I think I'll be in a full for the rest of the week.  My family requires me to take half of it home with me so we always have tons of leftovers.  

I love Christmas!  I feel like a little kid when Christmas comes around.  I make sure that we open our gifts Christmas morning, I make a small breakfast complete with coffee and we always start off the opening of gifts with the stockings.  I don't have children as of yet but I'm a kid a heart.  Sometimes I think I'll never grow up when it comes to Christmas.  What will happen when we do have children?  Oh my goodness. 

My favorite gift this year was my new boots.  My husband's favorite was his robe.  He has never owned a robe and told me he would live in it.
